Sometimes we miss the important things in life, when they happen right under our nose. Sometimes we miss the tiny magic in life, because it is hiding beneath our toes. either way, we become blind to these things when we are up in our heads too much, dreaming of yesterday and tomorrow. Life is happening right now, all around us, and we must wake up now so that we can experience it in all of it's beauty. If I am amongst nature, it is a sure way of grounding myself and bringing me back into the moment. I find myself taking photographs because I just want to share the tiny bits of magic that I see. Mushrooms have become one of my favourite things to photograph because certainly they are not mushrooms at all, but simply, pixie huts. Just look closer ...
